Rich in heritage, it is home to Fort Trio, the Mont Grand Matoury Nature Reserve and Native American villages, while offering tourist sites such as the Dégrad-Stoupan lake.

A simplified emblem adapted to its time
THE NEW LOGOTYPE OF THE CITY OF MATOURY
At the heart of this transformation, we find a logotype inspired by historical coats of arms. It has been simplified, modernized while keeping the soul of the Matourys, bright colors, dynamic shapes.
Everything has been designed to make each element recognizable at first glance. Like our Matouryens, this new identity is strongly asserting itself, catching the eye and making an impression.
A visual identity between authenticity and modernity
A UNIVERSE ROOTED IN NATURE AND THE FUTURE
The graphic universe comes to life through iconic illustrations of local fauna and flora, with the majestic palm tree embodying a luxuriant nature, and the Fort Trio shrimp, a reminder of the history, resources and heritage of Matoury. The airport, for its part, symbolizes their desire to be open to the world and to connect with the outside world. These symbols are accompanied by shapes taken from the logo, as well as a color palette that echoes the natural wealth and energy of the city: the deep green of the forests, the soothing blue of the rivers, the vibrant red of their strength, and the vibrant yellow of their vitality. These shades harmonize naturally, reflecting the diversity of Matoury. The modern and refined typography structures and guides the eye with striking simplicity. The whole of this visual identity strongly reflects Matoury's desire to distinguish itself, while remaining faithful to its authenticity. A united city, deeply attached to its history, but resolutely turned to the future.
